City of San Bruno, OTO Development Reach Tentative Agreement to Purchase City Land for $3.97 Million and Build 152-Room Hotel with Event Space at The Crossing

San Bruno—City of San Bruno officials today said they have reached a tentative agreement to sell a city-owned parcel to OTO Development LLC at fair market value as determined by an independent appraisal, with no subsidy of public funds. OTO is responsible to pay the City all development costs and fees. The City is releasing a complete copy of the appraisal today and posting it on its website.

Singer Associates Client Prana Investments Lands Two L.A. Communities

Los Angeles—Prana Investments, which specializes in acquiring underperforming multifamily properties, has just scooped up two more multifamily buildings in the Pico Union District of LA for about $2.5 million. Henry Garcia of Keller Williams Commercial represented the buyer in the off-market transaction. Garcia approached the owner of the properties about selling them after learning of the bankruptcy proceedings.
