San Francisco—Ace San Francisco Examiner news reporter Mike Aldax is joining Singer Associates, bolstering a roster of star communications experts at the distinguished public affairs and public relations agency.

Aldax is an award-winning journalist with 13 years of experience as a newspaper reporter and editor, most recently with The San Francisco Examiner.  He is best known as the creator and author of The Examiner’s popular and often humorous Law & Disorder crime section, which remains one of the paper’s most read features. Aldax brings an impressive network of relationships in the Bay Area, having covered politics, transportation, business and education at The Examiner.

Previously Aldax was an editor at the San Francisco Bay Area newswire Bay City News. He also held reporter positions at the Napa Valley Register, Garden Island Newspaper (Hawaii) and Queens Courier (New York).

Aldax has earned three San Francisco Peninsula Press Club awards for excellence in journalism, including first place for feature writing, and holds degrees from Fordham University (BA Communications) and the University of San Francisco (MFA Writing).

“I’m elated to provide my services to Singer Associates, an agency that is ranked among the nation’s best year after year,” Aldax said. “One reason the Singer agency is the best in the business is that it surrounds itself with incredible talent. I am honored to have earned a spot on this team.”
