Gina Antonini brings a broad range of community and public affairs experience to Singer Associates. Before joining Singer, Ms. Antonini worked as Deputy Director of Governor Schwarzenegger’s Regional Office in San Francisco. Tasked with representing the Governor in the twelve surrounding counties of the Bay Area, Ms. Antonini served as a liaison to local businesses, elected officials and community groups regarding state issues.
Ms. Antonini began her work in the Governor’s Office as Field Representative and Office Manager and was appointed in 2008 as Deputy Director of the San Francisco Office. In her capacity, she managed local outreach on the Governor’s policies, helped pass significant legislation through building support from a diverse range of groups and served as a resource to the community on state-related issues. Ms. Antonini also managed media events and private meetings for the Governor in the Bay Area and on his most recent trade mission to Asia.
Ms. Antonini and her family organize and host an annual memorial golf tournament and reception at San Francisco’s Harding Park Golf Course with over 300 golfers and attendees. Proceeds from the tournament benefit San Francisco based organizations as well as the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Association, a non-profit organization that helps educate the public on heart disease.
Prior to working for Governor Schwarzenegger, Ms. Antonini studied at UC Berkeley and received her B.A. in History with an emphasis on American History. She was co-captain of the two time NCAA National Champion Cal Women’s Crew Team and a member of the UC Berkeley Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. In her free time, Ms. Antonini is an avid runner, snowboarder and San Francisco foodie. Ms. Antonini is a graduate of St. Ignatius College Preparatory and was born, raised and currently lives in San Francisco, CA.
