AC Transit, Bus Rapid Transit and “ACT for me”
The Task
AC Transit, California’s third largest public bus system, proposed an important new Bus Rapid Transit project for Berkeley, Oakland and San Leandro. The system would improve travel times along the route, increase passenger carrying capacity and reduce the number of cars clogging the road.
The Solution
Singer Associates was hired by AC Transit to initiate and manage the “ACT for me” public outreach campaign to inform riders and the general public about the agency’s ongoing commitment to efficiency, environmental sustainability and innovation.
