The Public Relations Society of America San Francisco Bay Area Chapter (PRSA-SF), one of the five founding PRSA chapters, this week recognized Singer Associates in its second annual awards program, The Foggies. Singer Associates won the Small Agency of The Year award. The prestigious program was open to public relations and communications professionals from agencies, in-house teams, and nonprofits.
The chapter held a virtual awards ceremony on November 18, emceed by KTVU Meteorologist Rosemary Orozco with a special appearance by local entertainer and magician Joshua Farenbough. The ceremony recognized the San Francisco Bay Area’s best public relations and communications programs and the brightest professionals who bring them to life.
“We are very pleased to be honored as the Small Agency of the Year,” said Sam Singer, founder of the 20 person firm. “This recognition is testament to our agency’s hard work and dedicated staff.”
“Despite the challenges 2020 has thrown at us, communicators did not disappoint,” said Jenna Watson Gudgel, PRSA-SF President. “The quality of work demonstrated by winners of our second annual Foggies Awards is commendable, especially against a backdrop of a global pandemic. Bay Area communicators rose to the occasion, delivering standout work yet again. It was important to us for our Bay Area community to share in the camaraderie and cheer of celebration together. Congratulations to the winners.”
Sponsors for the second annual PRSA-SF Foggies Awards included BusinessWire, Cision, Paul Sakuma Photography, and Swift Incentives.
A full list of 2020 winners can be found on the chapter website. Award entries were judged by a separate PRSA chapter to ensure an honest and unbiased process, while maintaining an ethical standard and avoiding any potential conflicts of interest.
