Cassandra Sweet is an award-winning writer, media strategist and public relations professional. She has worked with a variety of companies in clean energy and other industries to communicate their achievements and goals, and target their messaging across traditional, social and digital media.
Prior to her current role at Singer Associates, Mrs. Sweet provided content and media strategy to Singer clients and other companies through her firm, Cool Green Media.
Mrs. Sweet worked for more than 15 years as a journalist, most recently as a senior energy reporter at The Wall Street Journal and as a senior writer at GreenBiz.
Among her awards was a 2016 Abe Fellowship that allowed Cassandra to work and report on renewable energy in Japan. Her work there included a Wall Street Journal feature about Fukushima’s 100 percent renewable energy goal and a shift among local businesses toward clean energy.
She has an M.A. in Journalism and Strategic Communication from the University of Missouri Graduate School of Journalism, and a B.A. in History and Art from Washington University in St. Louis.
