Jason Galisatus joined Singer Associates in 2022 as an Account Director, bringing to the role deep experience in local government, nonprofits, public affairs, and communications.

A fifth-generation Bay Area native, Galisatus has worked extensively in San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara counties, building relationships across multiple Silicon Valley and Peninsula jurisdictions, informing a regional perspective to his work. In each of his previous roles, he sat at the nexus of the private, public and nonprofit sectors to drive collaborative results in complex political environments.

Galisatus launched his career at Ground Floor Public Affairs in San Francisco as an Account Executive. He later held a role in Stanford University’s Office of Government and Community Relations, where he managed stakeholder relations related to land use policy.

Most recently, he served as the Executive Director of the Redwood City Education Foundation, where he led a process of transitioning the organization from a volunteer-led nonprofit to a professionally managed organization. This work included adopting a new mission and refining its giving strategy. Under his leadership, the 38-year-old organization’s annual revenues exceeded $1M, growing nearly 150% in two years. Galisatus has also worked on a number of candidate, ballot measure, and independent expenditure campaigns.

In addition to his professional experience, Galisatus has an extensive background in public service in his hometown of Redwood City. He served as the Chair of the Redwood City Transportation Advisory Committee and was appointed by the City Council to serve on the Downtown Retail Taskforce. He worked closely with Supervisor Dave Pine to establish and later Chair the San Mateo County LGBTQ Commission. In 2018 he ran for City Council and was one of the top fundraisers in the race. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Redwood City Improvement Association and co-chairs the Chamber San Mateo County’s Education Committee.

Galisatus received a BA in Political Science from Stanford University and lives in San Francisco.
