San Francisco, Calif. – Singer Associates, a San Francisco-based public relations and corporate communications firm, announced the promotion of Gina Antonini to Vice President.  Antonini joins the ranks of senior leadership after five-years at the agency in the health care, finance, technology and government relations sectors. The promotion makes her one of the youngest vice presidents in the agency’s 25-year history.

“A proven leader, innovative communicator and tireless partner to her clients, Gina has cemented her role as critical to the agency and her client’s success,” said Sam Singer, President of Singer Associates. “From corporate communications to crisis work to media relations, Gina has led successful programs on behalf of the firm’s many clients.”

Antonini began as an Account Executive in 2010 and quickly rose through the ranks to Senior Account Executive and later to Account Supervisor. In this role, she will continue to manage several flagship accounts including Stanford Health Care, UBS, Wood Partners, Presidio Trust and the Sand Hill Property Company.

Prior to joining Singer Associates, Antonini served as the appointed Deputy Director of California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s San Francisco Bay Area Field Office. In that role, she managed media strategy, drove policy and political strategy on key statewide initiatives, and built relationships with local business and community stakeholders and influencers. Antonini also served as advance lead at the 2010 World’s Fair in Shanghai for the Governor’s final trade mission.

Ms. Antonini began her career as a member of the publishing team for the inaugural issue of the George Lucas Educational Foundation magazine, Edutopia.

Antonini received her Bachelors of Arts degree in history from University California Berkeley where she also served as Captain of the 2005 and 2006 NCCA National Championship women’s rowing team. She currently serves as a board member for the Peter Patrick Madigan Antonini Foundation. She lives in San Francisco with her husband Trevor Hammond and dog Ted.
